How to access our services
The Commonwealth’s Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP) provides a streamlined and effective way for Government to engage our expert services. As a Supply Nation certified enterprise, we can be engaged through the following established pathways.
For procurements of any value, the IPP allows Government Agencies to engage us directly, provided the engagement represents a value for money outcome. This is the most efficient pathway, simplifying the procurement process while ensuring full compliance with Commonwealth rules.
For projects with an estimated value between $80,000 and $200,000, the IPP requires that an Indigenous business is given the first opportunity to deliver the work. Engaging JL2 Legal allows you to confidently and efficiently satisfy this mandatory requirement.
For high-value contracts over $7.5 million, prime contractors are required to meet Indigenous participation targets. We are an ideal partner for primes seeking to confidently meet and exceed these obligations by subcontracting our specialist services.
Our expertise extends to supporting state and territory Governments. Jurisdictions such as the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, and Queensland have established their own powerful Indigenous and social procurement frameworks.
These policies, like the Commonwealth’s, are designed to simplify the engagement of Indigenous enterprises and often include provisions for direct procurement. As a Supply Nation certified business, JL2 Legal is recognised as a verified supplier across these jurisdictions, providing a seamless pathway for agencies to engage our services while meeting their local procurement targets.
Engaging with us is a direct and collaborative process. It begins with an initial conversation to understand your specific challenges and commercial objectives.
From there, we work with you to define a clear scope and propose a tailored approach designed to deliver the outcomes you need. Our focus is on responsiveness and building a direct partnership, ensuring we can get to work quickly and effectively.
